back to school
Every day this week im doing work experience, which is really exciting because im getting a little taster of a lot of different stuff which goes on within the photographic/media industry. Today i was helping out a locations manager on a shoot for a coca cola advert. Heres a little phone picture from the day:. Those massive film lights are sometimes used by Rankin!

THE ADVENTURES OF LIL LAU STEVENS!!!
Hi mum, hi dad! hello carshalton beeches! Im living back at home now and i am in surburban bliss. Im fully embracing my so called roots of Sutton,wallington and carshalton beeches (millenium fish bar). Those who know, know about millenium fish bar.
So yeah you could say iv been slightly slacking on the photographic side recently BUT uni made me lazy. It's all about to change now.
Last week me and the boys went out to oaks park to watch the sunset. HOW LOVELY> but it didnt really happen well it happenned it got dark and stuff but the sky wasnt all pretty due to waste clouds. Heres a nice little photo pre darkness. Regular updates here now i promise! :)

Dave Willis
I had a one on one 20 minute studio workshop with mostly music photographer Dave Willis. You can see his work here: http://www.davewillis.co.uk/ So yeah it was dope and i learnt a lot from it about lighting which is such a crucial thing to know about. My image is a take on the tina turner art work for whats love got to do with it and my model was a girl called Holly whos a 2nd year from the fashion department ^_^
